The new 2011 Spirit Fitness XE395 Incline Trainer is an exceptional elliptical trainer. The console is equipped with a unique muscle activation profile system, It’s important to understand which muscle groups are gaining the most benefit during your work-out. On our elliptical trainers, you will be using your glutes (bottom), hamstring (back of your thigh), quad (thigh), calf, and pecs and arm muscles.

The LED’s lights will activate in three degrees of engagement: Green represents minimal muscle involvement, Amber for medium involvement, and Red, full or heavy involvement. Use this quick reference to challenge yourself during your work-out. Change the gradient of the incline ramp up to 20% to target increased muscle groups in the lower body during your workout.
